Julie Muller's 'Till We meet Again' is a tender treatment of a difficult subject for children, the loss of a loved one. Thoughts and sentiments expressed are easily grasped by children. Muller's words give children permission to feel the pain but also give them a way to let their loved ones live on through them. The illustrations by Camryn Cox, beautiful in their simplicity, seamlessly connect with the words. I love this book.
The book is beautifully written…an emotional journey and exploration of a childs experience with grief and the passing of a loved one. It is a very comforting story, of love that never dies. To think that those we love stay with us always, to guide and care for us in this life is a thought I hope to raise my children with.
Thank you for making the tough times a little bit easier.
Very nice poem about missing the loved one who died. But not what I was looking for. It does not explain a loved on dying, which is what I was looking for. I returned this book.
I got the book for my niece when my grandmother passed away. I read it before I gave it to her and it was beautiful. We loved it.
This is for young children. It might be helpful to elementary students who are a little older but mostly K-2 I would think.
